Overview
Top Player's Golf offers Stroke Play, Match Play, and Nassau Game modes across two 18-hole country club courses. Players choose from four golfers and can call on a caddy whose digitized voice comments on each hole. A memory card, when present, lets players save progress between rounds.
02
Why it matters
The game was among the earliest launch titles for the Neo Geo arcade and home systems, marking an early appearance of SNK on the platform. As one of only two golf games released for the Neo Geo family, it occupies a distinct place in the system's short golf catalog.
03
The physical edition
A typical complete Neo Geo cartridge copy includes the box, manual, and game cartridge, with packaging differing by region and release batch. Some editions add inserts or caddy-related extras, so contents are not identical across all regional releases.
04
Playing it today
The Neo Geo AES cartridge runs on the original home console or compatible arcade hardware. The game also appeared on Neo Geo CD and later digital distribution services, giving players multiple ways to access it.
