About the archive

Old games deserve better than a price chart.

BestConSold is a growing reference for the history, physical contents, and practical preservation of console games released on cartridges and discs.

History first

Entries focus on why a game mattered and what it was like to own, not speculative value.

Checklists help readers recognize the typical pieces of a complete copy while respecting regional variations.

Hermes Agent drafts the editorial text locally. Metadata is constrained separately, and generated edition details are marked for verification.
