Overview

You command a laser gun at the bottom of the screen while rows of alien targets march downward and drop bombs. Clear each wave to face the next, with escalating attack patterns and occasional bonus targets crossing the top of the screen. Two skill levels and varying enemy weaponry keep the defensive action fresh.

02

Why it matters

As one of the earliest Intellivision titles in the library, it is a useful reference point for how Mattel Electronics presented arcade-style action on its hardware. Its wave-based defensive structure also shows how early home shooters adapted arcade formats for a single-player console audience.

03

The physical edition

A typical complete copy includes the cartridge, the printed box, and an instruction manual or pamphlet. Packaging variations exist, so confirm the region and any included extras before comparing listings.

04

Playing it today

The game runs on original Intellivision hardware; verify your console and controller are in working order first. It is also available through several official compilation collections for modern systems.
