01

Overview

Pokémon Trozei! asks players to slide rows and columns of falling Pokémon tiles across the DS's two screens. Four identical Pokémon in a row clear the board and trigger a timed bonus window where three or even two tiles can match. An adventure mode frames the puzzle play around rescuing Pokémon from the Phobos Battalion, while a list of 380-plus entries encourages long-term collection.

02

Why it matters

The game is an early example of how the DS's dual screens and stylus could reshape a familiar match-four formula into something more tactile. It also became the reference point for the later 3DS sequel, Pokémon Battle Trozei.

03

The physical edition

A complete copy typically includes the game card and a slim DS-format case, often with a manual or quick-start guide inside. Region, cover art, and included inserts vary by edition, so verify the specific version you are looking at before purchase.

04

Playing it today

The card works in any original Nintendo DS or DSi, so it remains easy to pick up and play. Save data and wireless multiplayer depend on the DS hardware, so use the console that came with the system or a known-working setup.
