01

Overview

You guide Mr. Do through a tunnel network to clear every cherry before the level ends. Apples can be pushed onto enemies, and a single throwable power ball offers a second line of defense. Clearing the field advances you to harder layouts, while special enemies can spell out the word EXTRA for an extra life.

02

Why it matters

The title carries the Mr. Do! franchise from a 1982 arcade classic into Nintendo’s first handheld generation. Its Game Boy version shows how early handheld ports compressed a full arcade maze experience into a portable format.

03

The physical edition

A typical complete copy includes the cartridge, an outer box, and the instruction booklet; some listings also include a bag or other accessories, but those extras are not guaranteed in every regional edition. The exact box art, label, and included materials can vary by region and publisher.

04

Playing it today

A Game Boy or Game Boy Color console is needed to play the original cartridge. Emulation can be used for preservation, though physical ownership is a different collecting practice.
