01

Overview

Kid Klown sprints diagonally across each stage, dodging hazards and popping balloons to find the four card symbols needed to finish. A burning fuse sets the pace, and missing even one symbol forces a full level restart. The game has five levels, a short runtime, and a chance-based mini-game that determines which ending you see.

02

Why it matters

It is one of the few SNES platformers that uses a tilted isometric camera to create a sense of forward momentum. Its exaggerated, Looney Tunes-style injury animations give it a distinctive cartoon personality that most 16-bit platformers lack.

03

The physical edition

A typical complete North American copy includes the cartridge, original box, dust cover, instruction manual, and any included inserts or registration cards. Exact contents vary by region and printing, so verify the specific edition before purchase.

04

Playing it today

The game runs on standard SNES hardware and plays in single-player sessions of roughly half an hour on the first playthrough. Its isometric view and fixed forward movement make it a short, high-friction experience that rewards patience more than precision.
