01

Overview

You take control of a band leader and make one of eight choices each turn, balancing money, happiness, and popularity. The goal is to reach a million dollars, 1,000 popularity points, 100 happiness points, and three status symbols before aging out. Random events, chart competition, and live performances keep each run different.

02

Why it matters

It stands out in the early ColecoVision library as a management simulation focused on music business strategy. Its lineage from a ZX Spectrum release gives it a distinctive place in 1980s console history.

03

The physical edition

A typical complete copy should include the cartridge, box, and printed instruction booklet. Edition-specific packaging details and included materials should be confirmed for the particular copy being evaluated.

04

Playing it today

On original hardware it plays as a straightforward single-player cartridge. An emulator with a ColecoVision BIOS can also run the game for convenient testing.
