01

Overview

The game follows Jaleco's earlier arcade title and adapts it for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Players control a fighter ship equipped with two satellite pods whose formation can be changed during play. Each stage begins with a choice among several weapons, and destroying enemies gradually raises the ship's power without relying on standard power-up items.

02

Why it matters

It shows how a 16-bit port could expand an arcade shooter by adding selectable weapons and persistent upgrades. The console version is also distinct from the arcade original because it includes stages and a final encounter not found in the cabinet.

03

The physical edition

A typical complete copy includes a Super Nintendo Entertainment System cartridge, a game box, and any included paper manual or documentation. Region, label, and packaging may vary, so the edition and package contents should be confirmed before purchase.

04

Playing it today

A standard Super Nintendo Entertainment System or a compatible SNES console can run the game with one controller. Players should expect a challenging single-player experience with long levels and limited continues.
