Overview
Demon Attack places the player on a planet surface while winged creatures descend in patterned waves. The player moves a laser cannon left and right to shoot the demons and protect a small set of bunkers that act as lives. The Intellivision version adds a final boss called Pandemonium after three enemy waves.
02
Why it matters
Demon Attack was one of Imagic's first major titles and helped establish the studio's presence in early console publishing. Its Intellivision port is often discussed alongside the Atari 2600 original because of the added mothership boss.
03
The physical edition
A typical complete copy includes the game cartridge and its instruction manual, usually housed in an Intellivision box with cover artwork. Regional packaging, box shape, and included materials can differ, so edition details should be checked directly.

Playing it today
The Intellivision cartridge can be played on original hardware or supported emulation setups. The game's controls are simple: move the cannon and fire to clear waves, with the boss fight appearing after the third wave.
