Overview

You guide Norris along a branching path to a monastery, switching between a scrolling overworld and close-up combat screens. Each foe can require a specific punch, kick, or block to defeat, and your belt rank rises as you win. You must reach the monastery and earn black-belt status to face the ninjas inside before the timer runs out.

02

Why it matters

The ColecoVision version is part of Xonox's double-ender cartridge line, where a single physical cartridge held two games on either side. It also circulated under the names Kung Fu Superkicks and Super Kung Fu after the Chuck Norris license expired, so box art and labels vary by release wave.

03

The physical edition

A typical North American complete copy includes the cartridge, outer box, and instruction manual, though packaging details differ between the original Chuck Norris Superkicks release and the later renamed editions. Because the double-ender cartridge carries two games, verify which side corresponds to this title and whether the packaging matches the edition you want.

Playing it today

The ColecoVision is supported by common multi-system emulators, and the original hardware is still available with standard power and AV connections. Expect a straightforward single-player experience with a six-minute time limit, simple controls, and no save function.
