Overview

Players climb ladders and walk across stacked buns, patties, and toppings, dropping ingredients onto plates below while Mr. Hot Dog and other enemies give chase. Chopping through an ingredient's sections collapses the whole layer, triggering chain drops that can trap or crush pursuers for big point gains. A limited pepper-throwing defense lets Peter temporarily stun enemies, though they all eventually return for another round.

02

Why it matters

It is one of the earliest home ports of the 1982 arcade classic and a strong showcase of Intellivision's fixed-screen platform design. The port preserves the arcade's core timing and collapsing-layer mechanics with little need for adaptation.

03

The physical edition

A typical complete copy includes the Intellivision cartridge with a labeled or blank label, the game box, and any printed instruction leaflet. Regional editions and print runs can differ in box art, labeling, and included paperwork, so verify the exact contents before purchase.

04

Playing it today

An original Intellivision console is the straightforward route; the cartridge is plug-and-play with no special setup. Modern Intellivision emulators are also a practical option, but source any ROM legally and expect the fixed-screen layout to feel demanding by modern standards.
